Two of Our Own Land Post-season High School Baseball Assignments

Brandon (l) with Adam (r) at recent college game
Ump-attire.com is proud to announce that two of our fellow employees, Brandon Lawson and Adam Carter secured post season umpire assignments in the 6th and 7th region high school baseball tournament in Louisville, Kentucky.

Adam has been connected with the ump-attire.com family since March of 2012. He holds the position of bookkeeper.  He umpired a first round at Eastern High School and second round contest at University of Louisville's Patterson Stadium.

Brandon became settled with the ump-attire.com organization in April of 2012 as warehouse laborer. He displayed his Wendelstedt Umpire School knowledge at Waggener High School in an opening around game.

Congrats to Adam and Brandon and anyone of you out there who has been assigned tournament games this season.

Jim Surprises Staff with Professional Back Massages

Not an actual staff person.
But you get the picture.
If you worked here, you have to work very hard during the height of baseball season. Whether you're a warehouse employee or customer service rep, it can be stressful at times.

Lately, we've had some staff changes and growing pains as well as our busiest baseball season ever. The staff have deserved a little break.

So Jim found a local massage therapist to stop by and give back massages on-site. Each staffer received a 15 minute massage. Jim has just been nominated for CEO of the year.

Customers Polled: No Superstore, Yes to Product Mix

We asked our Facebook fans, should we be a superstore and have everything under the sun or carry a pre-selected mix of products as we have been doing.

It looks pretty clear. Most customers at nearly 3 to 1 prefer that we choose the best mix.

It's a little easier for us. Having more products means more space needed, more money invested, more training needed for staff, less returns if something doesn't work or someone doesn't like.

Of course, it might appear we are headed to becoming superstore as we've added several new brands: All-Star, Team Wendy, Nutty Buddy and Rite-Temp as well as new products including the Ump-Attire poly-wool pants, etc. Anything you'd like for us to provide don't hesitate to make a suggestion.
