Although it's been an excellent year for baseball, we've been hard at work since the early Spring gearing up for football.
We're most excited about our new shirt selection. Last year, we had only 2 Majestic short sleeves and 1 long sleeve shirt, all with knit collars. Bummer. This year, we've gone all out.
Thanks to Beulah Hester (the designer of our ultimate ball bag and ultimate basketball shirt) and Smitty, we have 5 new byron collar shirts in different fabrics including our new Ultimate shirt of the football variety and a long sleeve waterproof shirt.
We've also upgraded in a few areas including throw-down bags (have some nice long belt types as well as smaller ones) , caps (from Richardson with wicking material that I haven't seen our competitors pick up as of yet), wristband indicators (now have a choice for larger ones in both colors) and a few additional gear bags (some we've had since Spring). Click here for a page with all the new stuff.
Hey, we even added a nicer, longer lanyard style for your whistle; not that there was anything wrong with the other lanyard. Who worries about selling better lanyards? I guess that's us.
Things we are waiting on include longer inseam shorts, another knicker choice - this one with inset back pockets, some compression, a new bag from Shock Doctor and shoes. More on those later.
We also have some new things that I'm clueless on how well or not they'll sell, watches for one, turf insoles for another. Stay tuned, and I'll let you know.

10 Question Brands and Services Survey
The feedback we've gotten on the first survey we did has been awesome. We've honestly learned a few things that we did not know.
To continue helping us get even smarter, we just published a new 10 question survey about our brands and services (e.g. Do you like our brands? What other brands do you like we don't have? etc.). We would love everyone's input.
You can go here and select the first survey. You can also select our first survey from there, too, if you haven't completed it.

My First Trip to Charleston, SC
I've been talking about visiting Charleston for years and got a chance to visit there for a a little R&R while on vacation in the lowcountry.
What a wonderful, beautiful city... full of history.... highly recommended. If you go, here are some can't misses:
- Visit Fort Sumter National Park
- Drive Across The Arthur J Ravenel Bridge
- Eat at Jestine's Kitchen on Meeting Place
- Stroll in Waterfront Park and watch the big freighters go by
- Spend the money on a carriage ride if you have young kids
- Walk or drive by the Battery (row of houses on Battery St)
If you've been or live in Charleston, would love to hear from you.
